#PrepTalkLive

From the Friday Night Lights to Saturday afternoon homecoming games, BuffaloNews.com is the place to keep track of all of Western New York’s football action.

Review our #PrepTalkLive coverage from several games from Friday and Saturday. There are video reports, photo galleries, and live blogs of how the night transpired. Our scoreboard page also has additional details from some games.

Our #PrepTalkLive coverage will continue with today’s games. PrepTalkTV

[BN] the know every week during the high school football season with PrepTalkTV’s live, half-hour show each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Keith McShea will bring you interviews, analysis and features that you can find only at buffalonews.com.

#PrepTalkCastingCall

This year, high school students have a chance to be part of PrepTalkTV.

If you’d like to co-host PrepTalkTV with McShea, make a one-minute video online in which you “broadcast” your reasons for wanting to be part of the show. We’re looking for enthusiasm and the ability to speak into a camera. Then share the link of your video with @KeithMcSheaBN via Twitter, or email the link to kmcshea@buffnews.com.

We’re hoping to pick a winner from a different school each week. The earlier you make a video, the better chance you have of being on the show. High school journalism teachers and advisors are welcome to nominate students as well.

Live chat Thursday

Stay tuned after PrepTalkTV for another weekly feature, a live chat with McShea at 9 p.m. Anything regarding Western New York high school sports, or The News’ coverage of it, is up for discussion.

Week Two

A quick look ahead at next weekend:

• Next Friday, Tonawanda plays its first home game at the new Clint Small Stadium, which is on the grounds of the high school, when it hosts Class C North newcomer and longtime power Lackawanna at 7.

• Two major matchups next Friday are Lockport at Orchard Park at 7 (Lockport played OP pretty tough in a pair of competitive games last season) while Canisius heads to Rochester for the second straight week when they take on longtime power and defending Section V Class AA champion Aquinas.

• Next Saturday features a marquee matchup between Section VI and the Monsignor Martin Association, and it will be under the lights: St. Joe’s plays at Clarence at 7 p.m.
