Elizabeth Walter, a four-year rower and two-time captain at Nardin Academy, signed a nation letter of intent with the University of Notre Dame’s NCAA Division I crew program. Walter rowed in Nardin’s first boat for the last three years after she was named Novice MVP with the Gators’ All-High championship freshman eight.
“In the three years that I have coached at Nardin, this is the most engaged group of rowers I’ve worked with,” said Nardin coach Jackson Blazick. “Elizabeth is a great athlete, and as such, inspires those around her. She gives her peers the confidence the break through their own mental boundaries and achieve greatness.”
